Manifold says it reported the issues via the bug bounty program on May 21, 2026 and confirmed on July 7, 2026 they still worked, and notes eight releases from 1.0.73 to 1.0.80 did not change the flagged handlers, which it says remained byte identical. A second weakness involves a side panel URL parameter, skipPermissions=true, that can enable a privileged mode that skips permission checks and consent prompts, even though #Anthropic argues it is only constructed by internal scheduled task features. Manifold warns the bypass remains a few lines of #JavaScript and reports the behavior reproduces across Claude’s Opus, Sonnet, and Fable side panel model selections.
